Quad Pod Martin Houses |
Easy-to-assemble
in minutes, this unit consists of one four-room pod. The pods are
attached to an internally-fed stainless steel cable inside the pole
which allows the house to be raised and lowered with an anti-reversing
winch (see the pole system HF7548 which is sold separately).
Large roomy compartments measure 8" x 8" and can be easily disassembled
for cleaning. The top removes with snap tabs to allow easy inspection of
the nest. Wire supports allow ample perching area.
Sidewalls are made of aluminum. Floors and porches are sturdy molded
plastic. Rooms are vented to keep nests cool and each room features an
internal predator guard with integrated exercise perch and a front porch
that snaps in place and "locks" the nesting box onto the support.
Each four-unit pod can stack on another, up to 4 levels high.
Additional pods can be added without disturbing existing nest boxes.
