Reminiscent of a country home,
this feeder provides all the
comforts of home especially
dinner. A metal mesh screen
provides the walls for two sides
of the feeder providing the
reservoir for up to 1 1/2 quarts
of sunflower seed. Six drainage
holes in the base of the feeder
provide an exit for any water
that may get inside. An extended
roof helps prevent water from
entering the feeder. The roof
lifts off for filling the seed
reservoir. The feeder may be
hung (chain included) or mounted
(mounting plate not included)
onto a post.

As with all product left
outside, over time they
will tend to weather and
the paint finish will
fade.
You may apply two or
three coats of a
water-based semi-gloss
outdoor wood finish to
the outside to help preserve
the exterior finish. |
